Three Lenawee Businesses Win Grant

grant

ADRIAN — Three small businesses in Lenawee County are receiving state funding to support downtown development.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced $1.49 million in Match on Main grants this week, with awards going to 63 small businesses statewide.

Ghidrah’s Mystic She Ways in Adrian, Harvest Chocolate in Tecumseh, and Rosie’s Tecumseh Cafe are among the recipients, each receiving $25,000.

The grants, administered by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, aim to support small business growth and activate vacant or underused spaces.

State officials say this year’s funding will help create 444 jobs and revitalize over 100,000 square feet of downtown space.

The Match on Main program has supported more than 170 Michigan businesses since its launch in 2019.
