
ADRIAN — Dozens of local youth were recognized for top performances at the 2024 Lenawee County Fair in categories ranging from livestock to performing arts.
In the swine competition, Joscelyn Layman of Stateline Hustlers dominated with Grand Champion Market Hog and Overall Champion Showman. Andi Dillon of Quaker Willing Workers also earned multiple honors, including Reserve Champion Market Hog and Intermediate Showman.
In horse and pony events, Paige Neill of Rome Blue Ribbons took home Grand Champion Horse at Halter and Champion AQHA.
Dog handling saw Ellie Nichols of Onsted Sweet Clovers sweep the top awards, including Grand Champion Handler and Top Competitor.
In performing arts, Abigail and Allison Brockway of Ponies Inc. earned Extra Special Honors, while Ellie Huff of Britton-Macon took top sewing honors.
Beef breeding also saw strong showings from Ryan Good of Britton-Macon and Andi Dillon.
