TECUMSEH — Downtown Tecumseh is getting a summer makeover this weekend with the return of the Sun & Sand Festival, happening Friday and Saturday, July 18th and 19th.
Visitors can stroll through downtown and enjoy five giant sand sculptures created by Ice Creations of Napoleon, Ohio, alongside live music, food trucks, and family-friendly fun.
Activities include a scavenger hunt, street basketball, and the always-popular Pet Parade, which steps off Saturday morning at 10 a.m., temporarily closing a portion of Chicago Boulevard.
Road closures will also affect South Evans Street, South Ottawa, and the small lot behind The Boulevard Market throughout the weekend.
To see the full schedule or get involved, visit the City of Tecumseh’s website or check out the event page on Facebook.
Come down for sunshine, sand, and small-town summer vibes — all in the heart of Downtown Tecumseh.
