BLISSFIELD — The water slide at the Blissfield Aquatic Center is currently inoperable due to a broken plumbing line.
The Blissfield Village Council noted in the agenda of their Monday night meeting that no as-built plans or documentation exist showing the line’s exact location, and that the original sub-contractor has not been able to produce any records, diagrams or photos.
Any repairs would require sections of concrete deck around the pool to be removed.
Council members mulled over the option to hold off on repairs until the end of the season to preserve the pool’s water quality, or to remove the slide altogether, though no immediate action was taken.
