ADRIAN — The Adrian City Commission is moving forward with the search for a new city administrator, finalizing key details including the job posting, compensation range, and interview process.

Commissioners confirmed the recruitment timeline during a recent meeting, working to post the job immediately and conduct interviews with selected candidates in August. The search also includes a public engagement process tied to the city’s strategic planning efforts.

Interviews are scheduled for August 14, with a community reception planned the same evening. The reception will give residents an opportunity to meet the candidates and provide feedback to the commission.

The job posting will remain open until July 27. Final candidates will be announced in early August.

The new city administrator is expected to be hired later this summer. Public input from the ongoing community survey will help shape both the selection and the city’s future priorities.
