TECUMSEH — The City of Tecumseh has announced a temporary water service interruption scheduled for Tuesday night, June 24.
According to the Utilities Department, water will be shut off between 10 p.m. and midnight to allow city crews to replace and install two main shut-off valves on North Evans Street.
The affected area includes the 400 to 600 block of North Evans Street. The existing valves are currently non-operable, and the upgrade is necessary for future maintenance and service reliability.
Crews will work as quickly as possible to complete the repair and restore service within the two-hour window. Residents with questions are encouraged to contact the Water Department at 517-423-0402 or visit the City of Tecumseh’s website for more information.
The Utilities Department thanks residents for their patience and cooperation during the scheduled work.
