ADRIAN — The Lenawee Community Foundation has awarded over $400,000 in scholarships to more than 200 students across Lenawee County, recognizing the vital role of education in building a strong, supportive community.
The Foundation held a scholarship reception on June 13 to celebrate recipients and honor the donors who make these awards possible. Students and fundholders connected over shared stories and the impact of educational support.
Brief remarks were shared by scholarship recipient Brodie Stipe, donor Barb Eisenmann, and Foundation President and CEO Bronna Kahle, who emphasized that the awards represent opportunity and legacy, not just financial aid.
One recipient, Thia Tello, received the Frederick Kindinger Scholarship and expressed her honor and gratitude for the support.
Scholarship funds through the Foundation are often established in memory of loved ones or to reflect the community’s values. These gifts enable students to pursue higher education while fostering meaningful connections to their community.
