Kathleen M. Weitenhagen 73, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025 at Lenawee Medical Center in Adrian, Michigan from complications due to Alzheimer’s.
She was born April 1, 1952 to Burton Weitenhagen and Jean Francouer.
Kathleen retired from General Motors after 30 years of hard work and dedication working on the assembly line. She enjoyed spending her days doing anything outdoors in the sun, and staying active exercising and walking. She was very passionate about her dogs, the first being Butch who was named after her Father’s nickname. The later being Eva who was named after her Aunt. The names of her beloved dogs said a lot about the person she was and how much her family meant to her.
Kathy will be greatly missed by her sons Brandon Raupp and his wife Kim and their daughter Emily of Adrian, Cody Raupp and his wife Alexis and their son Harrison of Jackson, as well as their Aunt Karen Raupp who aided in her care during her transition to Lenawee Medical Center.
Many thanks to her loving, dear friends Barbara, Diane, and Marge for their years of companionship, and many visits while she was being taken care of in her later stages of life.
Per Kathy’s wishes, no services are planned. She requested to be cremated and placed with her parents.
