ADRIAN — Adrian Public Schools is finalizing its budget for the 2025 through 2026 school year. The Adrian Board of Education held a budget hearing at their regular meeting on Monday, led by Business Manager Dan Pena.
Since the state’s overall education budget has yet to be decided, the school must anticipate the most conservative per-pupil spending increase, which currently sits at $392. This number is based on an expected decrease of 50 students in the school’s student population.
WLEN News spoke with Superintendent Nate Parker, who explained further.
The Board will vote to approve the budget at their next meeting on Monday, June 23rd, at Adrian High School.
