Wanda Blevins, age 79, of Adrian, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, at Springcreek Rehab & Nursing Center in Adrian, surrounded by her loving family. Wanda was born on April 2, 1946, in Robinson Creek, Kentucky, to James and Manila (Boggs ) Blevins. Wanda worked for many years as the office manager for Associated Charities in Adrian. Wanda was a member of the Bethel AME in Adrian. Wanda was an animal lover, especially her two cats. She loved to take care of her lawn and garden around her home. She also enjoyed going thrifting around the area. Wanda especially loved spending time with her family.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Allison Skeels: daughter-in-law, Vicki Arevalo; grandchildren: Van Skeels and Alana (Nick) Johnston, and many nieces and nephews. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, son: John Arevalo, and six siblings: Beulah, Willis, Kelice, Colburn, Logan, and Don, and her dog Maggie.
A Celebration of Life service will take place at 2:00 pm at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, with visitation taking place from 12:00 until the time of the service at 2:00 pm. Pastor Doug Letih will officiate, and burial will take place at a later date.
