Sean Patrick Collins, age 49, of Tecumseh MI, passed away at ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. He was born in Eloise, MI, on January 17, 1976, the son of Anthony Gerard Collins and Ellen Carol Maggard. On October 10, 2020, he was joined in marriage with Jennifer Annette Wilder in Palmyra, MI. Sean worked for thirty years as a millwright at Moeller Aerospace.
Sean was an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a member of the Breaking Waters Bass Club. He was especially proud and fond of his diesel truck and his bass boat.
In addition to his wife, Jennifer, and his parents, Anthony Collins of Onsted, MI, and Ellen (John) Nicolai of Palmyra, MI, Sean is survived by his step-daughter, Mia Christianson, of Dundee, MI; his two sisters, Dawn (Kevin) Barrett of Tecumseh, MI, and Toni (Mark) Huff of Adrian, MI; and seven nieces and nephews, Kayleigh, Allie, Dempsey, Virginia, Mason, Ellie, and Maggie.
Sean is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dempsey and Iris Maggard, and his paternal grandparents, Bobbie and Eli Collins.
Visitation for Sean will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes. A Celebration of Life at the funeral home will follow the visitation beginning at 4:00 pm
