ADRIAN, Mich. — Lenawee County Commissioners have approved the purchase of three new vehicles as part of ongoing facility maintenance and law enforcement operations.
Two 2025 Ford F-250 trucks will be added to the Buildings and Grounds fleet, each costing under $50,000. One of the trucks will replace a 2010 GMC previously slated for retirement after receiving an $8,000 repair estimate. Officials said both new vehicles will help keep the 20-truck fleet on a 10-year replacement schedule.
The Sheriff’s Office also received approval to purchase a 2025 Dodge Ram 4×4 for $45,000 through LaFontaine CJDR in Lansing. The new pickup will join the department’s fleet under the current capital improvement plan.
All three vehicles are being paid for through county project funds or budgeted improvement plans.
