Walberg Office to Hire Veteran Through House Aide Program

LANSING Congressman Tim Walberg is participating in a House program designed to hire veterans for congressional district offices.

The Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program offers a paid, two-year position for a veteran to work in Walberg’s district office. The role includes attending local events and helping residents navigate federal, state, and local agencies.

To qualify, applicants must be honorably discharged, have left active duty within the last six years, hold a final pay grade at or below E-5, O-3, or W-2, and not be retired under 20-year or TERA provisions.

Congressman Tim Walberg said, quote, “I am excited to announce that my office will be participating in the Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program. This program provides veterans with invaluable experience and helps broaden their career opportunities. I encourage all eligible and interested Michiganders to apply,” unquote.

Gold Star family members and spouses of active-duty service members may also be eligible.
