John D. Sadowski, age 83 of Clayton, Michigan passed away, Thursday, April 10,2025 at Hillsdale Hospital, Hillsdale Michigan.
He was born on July 4, 1941, in Bellaire, Ohio to Benjamin J. and Wilhemina E. (Fluxe) Sadowski. On January 22,1972 he married Arlynn M. E. Thomas in Southgate, Mi. and she survives. John retired from Adrian Steel in 2002 as a sheet metal fabricator, he was a black smith and loved history, especially during the Civil War era. John proudly served in the U. S. Army from 1963-1965 as a radio operator and he served in Vietnam in 1965.
Surviving John besides his wife are three children, Rachel (Willard Sharp, Jr.) Sadowski, Rebecca Sadowski and Jon Sadowski, a grandson, Willard, III, a sister, Denise Amici. John was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Dolores and brother, Donald.
Funeral Services for John will be held at 1:30 P.M., Monday, April 14, 2025, at Michigan Memorial Park, Flatrock, Michigan with Military Honors conducted by Wyandotte Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian.
