Blissfield, MI – The Village of Blissfield has announced that the boil water advisory for Blissfield residents only has been lifted. However, Riga customers remain under the advisory.

As of late Wednesday afternoon, all water samples have confirmed no microbial contamination. After consultation with state agencies, it has been determined that the Blissfield water system meets all regulatory standards.

At this time, only Blissfield village residents no longer need to boil their water before use. Blissfield Village residents are asked to contact the village if they experience any change in water quality.

As for Riga customers, the Riga system is still waiting for their water sampling results. Riga customers MUST continue to boil water until further notice. Any Riga customers with questions may contact Jason Morris with the Lenawee County Drain Commission at 517-264-4699.
