George Harvey Hoag, age 84, of Adrian, MI, passed away, April 8, 2025, at Lynwood Manor. George was born December 24, 1941, in Adrian, MI, the son of Lawrence & Kathryn (Poley) Hoag. He was a graduate of Adrian High School, Class of 1959. George worked as a factory worker for Bohn Aluminum for 20 years. He enjoyed cars and working in the yard as well as swimming. George is survived by his wife, Sandra Hoag of Adrian; two daughters, Debra and Rebecca; one brother, Steve; his grandchildren, Brooke, Brittany, Courtney, Lindsey, Heather, Josh and Jeremiah; and seventeen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence & Katherine Hoag; one brother, Lawrence Hoag Jr. and one sister Janet Raymond. Memorial Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, April 14, 2025, at Springville United Methodist Church, 10341 Springville Hwy, Onsted, MI, with Rev. Michelle McCalla officiating. Visitation will also be on Monday at Springville United Methodist from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Memorial Donations may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.
