Adrian District Library Hosting Program on Seed-Saving from Flowers, Veggies & Herbs

Adrian, MI – The Adrian District Library is hosting Bevin Cohen from Small House Farms for a free informative program on how to save the seeds from flowers, vegetables and herbs to use for next year’s garden. Cohen will present Seed Saving 101 on Thursday, May 15th, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the library’s community room.

Participants will learn multiple seed saving techniques, as well as the difference between heirloom, hybrid, and GMO seeds. The presentation will also cover the equipment needed for successful seed harvesting, and why this traditional practice is still valuable today.

Bevin Cohen is an award winning author, owner of Small House Farm and host of the popular Seeds & Weeds podcast.
