Adrian Twp., MI – Little Mews Rescue received a helping paw in its mission to save cats, thanks to recent donations by a Gleaner Life Insurance Society service group. Members of Gleaner Life’s headquarters group Legacy Arbor recently organized a workplace collection.
Coworkers donated more than half a dozen large bags of kitty litter plus boxes and bags of cat food, toys, and other items. Legacy Arbor also donated $500 to the rescue facility, which is located at 3446 North Adrian Highway in Adrian Township.
Jamie Matthews of Little Mews accepted the items and the donation and thanked the employees’ service group at Gleaner, noting in a statement that Little Mews is run by volunteers and their cats are dependent on donations.
