Alan L. Ekquist, age 67, of Clinton, Michigan, passed away, February 26, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born July 28, 1957, in Detroit, MI, the son of Willard and Virginia (Osentoski) Ekquist. On December 23, 2012, he married Marcia Vest and she survives.
In addition to his wife Marcia, he is survived by, three sons, Jesse (Bridget) Ekquist,
Steve (Chelsea) Ekquist, and Kenny (Jenny) Ekquist; step daughter, Britni (Chris) Hargett; step son, Eric Pins; five grandchildren, Charlotte, Amelia, Lola, Jameson, and Theo; and sister, Gail (Anthony) Karnavas.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 25 years, Judith (Barski) Ekquist on
July 2, 2009; son, Robby Ekquist on March 19, 1998; and his parents.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Purse & Son Funeral Home. Tecumseh, Michigan with Chris Hargett offciating.
Visitation will be from 12:00 to 3:00 also on Saturday, March 8, 2025
at Purse & Son Funeral Home, Tecumseh, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be used
according to their wishes.
