Chris was born on March 4, 1974, to David and Judy (Scott) Brockway in Adrian, Michigan. He graduated from Sand Creek High School with the Class of 1993. He was a proud Aggie. Playing in the 1992 State Championship football game was always a highlight of Chris’s life.
Chris obtained his CDL and enjoyed life over the road driving truck for many years. He later transitioned to short hauls to allow him more time at home with his kids. Chris was currently employed at TD Beck Trucking, LLC. Chris’s kids were the light of his life. He may have had a tough exterior, but he was really just a big teddy bear with a big heart. Chris was witty and funny. He loved to joke but didn’t hesitate to tell you what he thought. Chris always kept it real.
He will be greatly missed by his children, Joseph Brockway, Jessica Brockway, Jacob Brockway; parents, David and Judy Brockway; siblings, Kara (Shawn) Muck, Brad (Rachel) Brockway, Tyler (Jessica) Brockway; nieces and nephews, Haley Muck, Alec Muck, Allison Brockway, Grace Brockway, Madelyn Brockway, Abigail Brockway, Ryder Brockway, and Noah Brockway. Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Merle and Dorothy Brockway, Edward Scott, and Beverly Borton.
A Celebration of Life to honor Chris will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Seneca Community Church.
