Linda L. Chase – Tecumseh

Linda L. Chase, age 85, of Tecumseh, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2025 under the loving care of Hospice of Lenawee and her family. Linda was born on October 21, 1939, in Tecumseh, Michigan, the daughter of Leon and Lois (Brockway) Johnson. On June 9, 1956, she married Ashley Chase of Tecumseh, and he survives. They have enjoyed over sixty-eight years of marriage together.

Linda loved being a homemaker, and she created a beautiful home where she devoted herself to raising her children. After her children were grown, she worked in various office jobs, retiring from American Title Company. Throughout her life, Linda served the Lord as a member of Tecumseh Evangelical Friends Church, Adrian Church of the Nazarene, and Turning Point Church. Music was an important part of her life, and she was a gifted pianist, choir director and vocalist, and faithfully served the Lord using her musical gifts. She loved serving and encouraging others. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Along with her husband, Ashley, Linda is survived by her children, Jackie (Gale) Spohr of Adrian, Doug (Joyce) Chase of Adrian, and Carrie (Todd) Armstrong of Clayton; grandchildren, Steven (Melissa) Chase, Erik (Tara) Spohr, Chad (Bethany) Spohr, Michael (Stephanie Perez) Chase, Ashley (Nick) Nease; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Spohr, Anderson Spohr, Collin Chase, Eliza Spohr, Silas Spohr, Landon Nease, Selah Spohr, Isabel Spohr, and Emersyn Nease. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Lorraine Radant and Geraldine Chapman.

Funeral services for Linda will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Turning Point Church of Lenawee, 3300 Baldwin Hwy, in Adrian, Michigan, with Pastor Erik Spohr officiating and Pastor Christy Shaw assisting. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh, Michigan. Visitation will take place from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Handler Funeral Home in Tecumseh, Michigan and also at Turning Point Church on Thursday, one hour before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee or Turning Point Church of Lenawee
