Delfina Catherine Negrete, age 64, passed away on Wednesday February 19, 2025. She was born to Gregory and Margarita (Orozco) Negrete on January 28, 1961, in Adrian, Michigan.
After graduating from high school and attending college, Delfina went on to work at Lynwood Manor as a dietary aide. She enjoyed sending cards and inspiring letters to everyone she loved. Delfina had a deep faith which included studying her bible for hours at a time.
Left to cherish the memory of Delfina are two sisters, JoAnn (Doug) Spade and Lucy (Timothy) Rule; a niece, Hope Rule; uncle Marce Negrete; along with special friends Michelle Bates and Mary Radant and their families. Preceding her in death were her parents and paternal grandparents who raised her Gregorio and Delfina Negrete.
Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Anderson- Marry Funeral Home, Adrian, with Pastor Larry Betz officiating. Private burial of cremains will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Adrian, Michigan. Visitation will be held at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the service begins.
