Shelly Elizabeth Million, age 71, of Adrian, MI, died Monday, February 17, 2025, at Promedica Charles & Virginia Hickman Hospital.
Shelly was born in Hudson, MI, on March 11, 1953, the daughter of James and Fontaine (West) Million. She attended school in Hudson while growing up.
Shelly was a true animal lover and horses were her favorite. Her interest in horses started when she was a child and this fascination grew as she had the opportunity to work with horses, often helping with the daily chores. She was a spiritual person and believed in the Lord. Shelly enjoyed reading and showing her artistic side through painting. Shelly looked forward to Fall each year and took notice of all the vibrant colors the trees offered. She had a close relationship with her son, John, and appreciated the peacefulness of sitting outside at his home where she could experience nature and often see deer walking about.
Shelly is survived by her children, Brandie E. Hepker, Brian J. Hepker and John A. Million; granddaughter, Mary; and sisters, Kay, Cynthia, Marilyn and Shari. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Brenda R. Armstrong; and siblings, Beverly and Hal.
Following Shelly’s wishes, cremation will take place with no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagley Funeral Home, Adrian.
