
Ronald Julian Kaczynski, age 58, of Tipton, MI, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, MI. He was born on November 2, 1966, in Detroit, MI, the son of Ronald Julian and Louise (Schmitz) Kaczynski. On September 26, 1997 he was joined in marriage with Janine Gay Dupuis and they enjoyed over twenty-seven years together before his passing.
Ronald was employed in the maintenance division in the industrial field. Outside of work he was involved in many diverse activities. Ronald loved the outdoors, and spent many enjoyable hours out in his deer hunting shack with his dear friends, Greg, Eric and Zack and looked forward to it every season. At home, he worked taking care of his yard and his garden, where he always made sure to have a pumpkin patch for the kids. Inside, he focused on building model cars and challenging others to a good game of chess. Most of all, Ronald loved spending precious time with his kids, grandkids and loving wife.
In addition to his wife Janine, Ronald is survived by his mother Louise Adams of Alpena, MI, and his stepfather Emmett “Butch” Kucka, of Detroit, whom he was proud to call Dad; his children, Traci Sparks of Taylor, MI, Joel (Tracy Veresh) Northam of Canton, MI, and Michelle Galus of Tecumseh, MI; his grandchildren Jeremy, Alyssa, Laurel, Hailee, Jillian, Caitlyn, Ashton, Mya, Theodore, Flynn, and Avery; and his great-grandchildren, Hope and Ensleigh. He always made clear that his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were absolutely the “Joy of his Life”.
Ronald was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Stanley Kaczynski.
Funeral services for Ronald will take place at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the Tecumseh Chapel of Handler Funeral Homes, with interment following in the Franklin Township Cemetery in Tipton, MI. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 – 8:00 pm on both Thursday and Friday, February 20 and 21, 2025, and also for one hour preceding the funeral service on Saturday.
