Lois Gail Hill, age 84, of Adrian, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at ProMedica Charles and Virginia Hickman Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 25, 1940, in Adrian, to Harwood and Edith (Sneary) Covell.
After earning an associate degree from Jackson Community College, Lois went on to work as a CNC operator for many years. On December 1, 1962, she married Ron Hill in Jonesville, Michigan. They raised a family of four children and celebrated over 62 wonderful years together.
Lois was a woman of many passions and talents. She enjoyed shopping, crocheting, going out to lunch with friends and family, riding motorcycles, drag racing, and rollerblading. She loved dancing and was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed football. Above all else, Lois cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her immense love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life. Lois will be remembered as an amazing woman whose vibrant spirit brought joy to those around her.
To cherish her memory, Lois leaves her loving husband, Ron; four children: Kimberlea (Matthew) Williams, Keith (Brenda) Hill, Kassandra (Roger Eaton) Hill, and Kevin (Stacy) Hill; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons, William and Tyler Hill; and her sister, Cynthia Smith.
