ADRIAN — Adrian city officials and residents recognized the service of Community Development Coordinator Lisa Hewitt-Cruz during Monday night’s Adrian City Commission meeting as she prepares to transition into a new role with Lenawee County.
Commissioners and residents praised Hewitt-Cruz for her work on downtown development, preservation efforts, and community projects throughout the city.
Comments during the meeting highlighted her involvement in code enforcement, redevelopment efforts, and support for local improvement projects.
The recognition came during a meeting that also included discussion surrounding the city administrator search and other development-related matters.
