ADRIAN — Lenawee County officials are continuing the search for a new Veterans Affairs director following the planned retirement of current Director Tammy Sheldon.*
During the Wednesday, May 13th, Lenawee County Board of Commissioners meeting, Commissioner Terry Collins said applications for the position remain open through May 27.
County officials plan to review applications and conduct interviews June 3 and June 12, with the goal of extending a job offer afterward.
The Lenawee County Veterans Affairs office provides services and assistance programs for local veterans and their families.
