
ADRIAN — Lenawee County officials say the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office continues working to add new deputies as recruitment and academy training efforts move forward.
During Wednesday’s Lenawee County Board of Commissioners meeting, Commissioner Terry Collins reported one recruit is currently attending the police academy. Collins also said three additional recruits are preparing to begin training through Washtenaw’s police academy program.
The update was provided during the county’s Criminal Justice Committee report as officials continue addressing staffing and training needs within local law enforcement.
