LENAWEE CO. — The United Way of Monroe/Lenawee Counties has canceled its Spring 2026 Monroe County Health Check events.
The affected dates are May 14 in Temperance and May 28 in Dundee.
Officials said unforeseen circumstances have made lab services unavailable, forcing the cancellation. Executive Director Laura Schultz Pipis said blood panel testing is the cornerstone of the Health Check program.
The service has operated for nearly 40 years in Monroe County and eight years in Lenawee County, providing low-cost health screenings.
United Way says it hopes to reschedule the events. Updates will be posted at UnitedWayMLC.org and on the organization’s social media pages.
