BLISSFIELD — Residents in Blissfield can weigh in next month on a proposed $3.9 million water service line replacement project.

A public meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, May 4th at the Blissfield Village Hall on South Lane Street.

Officials say the project would replace up to 490 lead and galvanized water service lines across the village to meet updated Lead and Copper Rule requirements. The work would be financed over 20 years through the state revolving loan program, with an estimated cost of about 12 dollars and 32 cents per month per connection.

Draft plans are now available. Copies of the draft project plan are available at the Village of Blissfield Office. Copies will also be available at the May 4th public meeting.
