ADRIAN — A free Household Hazardous Waste Collection event is planned in Adrian next month.
Wacker Chemical, partnering with Anderson Development, will host the drop-off from 8 a.m. until noon on Saturday, May 9th, at 3301 Sutton Road.
Residential items accepted include oil-based paints, cleaners, automotive fluids, batteries, fluorescent bulbs, pesticides, fertilizers, and small propane cylinders.
Items not accepted include tires, electronics, appliances, explosives, ammunition, radioactive waste, pharmaceuticals, or business waste.
Organizers ask residents to limit liquids to 10 gallons per vehicle, with no container larger than 5 gallons.
