LANSING — Michigan lawmakers are expected to revisit utility costs and energy reliability as the 2026 session moves forward.
During a recent interview with WLEN, State Representative Nancy Jenkins-Arno said residents continue raising concerns about affordability. She said lawmakers are also examining regulatory costs that can affect businesses through licensing and compliance requirements.
Jenkins-Arno says those issues, along with dependable energy access, remain part of the legislative agenda this year.
