On her journey through life, Norma was blessed with a loving marriage to her husband, Douglas Howard Poll, whom she married in 1972. Together, they built a strong partnership rooted in love, faith, and family.

She was a devoted mother to her children: Fr. Jeffrey Poll of Deerfield, Michigan; Gregory Poll (Ellie) of Montgomery, Michigan; and Vicki Kastel (Brent) of Deerfield, Michigan. Norma found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Ty Poll, Logan Kastel, Lilli Kastel, and Colt Woodard, as well as her beloved grand dogs, whom she cherished deeply.

Norma is also survived by her siblings: Ronald Payne (Leona) of Deerfield, Michigan; Peg LaMonde of Peoria, Arizona; and Nancy Seegert (Daryl) of Middlebury, Indiana. She held her family close to her heart and maintained strong, loving relationships throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Alberta Payne; her in-laws, William and Marion Poll; her brother, Robert “Spunk” Payne; and her brother-in-law, Gerald LaMonde.

A woman of deep faith, Norma was a devoted parishioner of Light of Christ Catholic Church. Her faith guided her life and was reflected in her kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for others.

Norma will be remembered as a family-oriented woman who found her greatest happiness in spending time with her loved ones. She was an exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother, known for her warmth, generosity, and selflessness.
