MARLENE JUNE MARKIEWICZ age 90 years, of Cement City, formerly of Addison, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at her home. She was born on December 26, 1935, in Addison, the daughter of Harold and Mildred (Mosher) Huffman. Marlene graduated from Addison High School. She married Richard A. Markiewicz on June 16, 1984, in Somerset. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2003.
Marlene is survived by her daughter, Kim Isaacson; her son, Jody June; eight grandchildren, Kelly, April Ken, Jeremiah, Kyle, Ezekiel, Leah and Gavin; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a brother Jack (Carol) Huffman and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Drews-Hall; two sons, Michael June and Joshua June; her granddaughter, Jennifer; her parents; her sister, Jerry and her brother, Don.
Funeral Services for Marlene will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Addison with Dr. Samuel E. Wickard officiating. Burial will follow at Aldrich Cemetery, Somerset Township, Hillsdale County, Michigan. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 3-7 P.M at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home, Addison.
