TECUMSEH — Tuckey’s Big Boy will temporarily close this week for repairs.

The restaurant is set to shut down today, Monday, April 6th, as crews replace a main drain line that runs through the building.

Owner Sherri Tuckey says the work is necessary to keep the restaurant fully operational. They are repairing the main drain for their water needs, which runs through the entire building. Sherri Tuckey spoke with WLEN News and described the work as, quote, “not a fun repair, but it has to be done.” Unquote.

Tuckey says the goal is to reopen by Friday, April 17th, but that timeline is not guaranteed.

Customers are encouraged to watch the restaurant’s Facebook page for updates.
