ADRIAN — Lenawee County’s chief medical examiner is raising concerns about how death certificates are being completed, and the legal risks when they’re not done properly.
Dr. John Maino, who serves as chief medical examiner for Lenawee and Hillsdale counties, says he’s now working to educate medical professionals on the issue, including a recent presentation to emergency medicine residents in Jackson.
