ADRIAN — A new reimbursement program tied to the Crimson Holdings settlement will open Monday for eligible residents in the City of Adrian.

City officials say applications for the Household Repair Reimbursement Program will be available starting April 6th, using settlement funds to help cover certain home repair costs.

To qualify, applicants must have lived in the city during the incident period between December 1st of 2022 and July 18th of 2023, and the property must fall within the area bordered by Main and Winter Streets to the west, Siena Heights Drive to the north, Addison, Dean and Gulf Streets to the east, and East Beecher Street to the south.

Applicants must also provide proof of residency along with receipts for eligible household repair expenses dated from December 1st of 2022 to the present. City officials say tenants in non-owner occupied properties may also apply.

The maximum reimbursement is 300 dollars per household. Applications will be available online and at Adrian City Hall. Full details are expected on the city’s website. For more information, residents can contact Adrian’s Community Development Department.
