MADISON TWP. — The boil water advisory for the Airport Subdivision in Madison Township has been lifted.

Officials say two consecutive bacteriological tests, taken 24 hours apart, confirmed the water now meets all safety standards and is safe to drink.

The watermain repair is complete, and the system has been flushed and returned to normal operation.

Residents can resume using water for drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth.

As a precaution, officials recommend flushing household faucets for several minutes and discarding any ice made during the advisory period.
