
ADRIAN — The Adrian Symphony Orchestra will close out its season with a patriotic concert titled Celebrate America on Friday, May 1st at 7:30 p.m. at Dawson Auditorium on the Adrian College campus.
The evening will feature conductor Bruce Anthony Kiesling and guest pianist Albert Cano Smit in a program highlighting American composers, including Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man, Gershwin’s Concerto in F, Ives’s Variations on America, Hanson’s Symphony No. 6, and Sousa’s Washington Post March.
A cash bar opens at 6:30 p.m., followed by Classical Conversations at 6:40.
First-time ticket buyers for Celebrate America will also receive a free drink at the show, courtesy of Chip Moore and Adrian Insurance Agency.
