ADRIAN — A series of community programs and events are set throughout April at the Adrian Ebeid Center at Comstock.

The YMCA offers recurring fitness classes: Bodyweight Burn on Mondays and senior yoga on Tuesdays. Project Search will be introduced on April 9th, highlighting job training opportunities for students, while Compost Basics later that evening will focus on home composting techniques.

April brings several multi-week programs, including the 14-week “Getting Ahead” course on economic stability and “The Whole Sex Talk” for parents navigating relationship and health discussions.

One-time events include a Community Coalition meeting (April 13th), a children’s Body Safety session (April 14th), a Spending Plan workshop on budgeting (April 21st), and a free Health Check with screenings and prescription drug take-back (April 23rd).

The month wraps up with programs like Fathers of Lenawee on April 28th and Rent for Success on April 29th, which covers tenant rights and housing basics.

Most events are free, though some require advance registration.
