ADRIAN — The United Way of Monroe and Lenawee Counties will host its Spring Health Check event in Adrian on Thursday, April 23rd.
The event runs from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Mary’s Activities Center on Division Street.
The annual event offers low-cost health screenings, including a 22-panel blood test for $20, with additional tests like Vitamin D, A 1 C, and a new prostate cancer screening available for a small fee. A 12-hour fast is recommended, and no appointment is required.
Organizers say the event also includes a health fair with local agencies, blood pressure checks, vaccines, and free medication disposal. Test results will be mailed directly to participants, who are encouraged to follow up with their doctor.
Additional Health Check events are scheduled in Monroe County later in May.
