ADRIAN — A drive-thru drug take-back event is scheduled for next month, giving residents a safe way to dispose of unused or expired medications.
The Spring 2026 Drive-Thru Drug Take-Back Day will take place Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Promedica Hickman Hospital in Adrian.
Organizers say the event accepts medications, sharps, and liquid prescriptions. Sharps must be placed in an approved container or a sturdy plastic bottle with a secure lid.
The effort is aimed at reducing misuse and keeping homes and communities safe.
The event is supported by multiple local and regional partners, including law enforcement, health agencies, and prevention groups.
