R. David Webb, aged 79 years passed away peacefully at home on March 16, 2026 surrounded by family, caregivers and Lenawee Hospice.
A resident of Onsted and Brooklyn, Michigan for the past four and half decades, Dave to his large circle of friends and clients was a generous, funny, sarcastic, hard-working man with an Entrepreneurial spirit.
Dad came to Michigan in the early 1980’s whilst working overseas in Saudi Arabia. The Irish hills became his new stomping grounds and he established his water treatment company here at the end of his time overseas.
Born in 1946, he was the eldest of three brothers to Don and Shirley of Croydon, South London in England. Although he left England in 1979 to create new opportunities, his sense of where he was from was always there.
Rotary International provided dad an opportunity to give back and where he met and developed many of his lifelong friendships. Dad lived by a motto and it will be carried forward: “Is it fair to all concerned?”
Dad loved his cars. It was always a topic he could talk about. This trait is shared with his sons and grandson.
David is survived by his sons James(Vanessa) and Sam(Holly); his grandchildren Ben(Christean), Karly, and Lauren; his step-daughters Kate Russull and Pip Eglin and their children; and his youngest brother John(Wendy) and their children.
David is preceded in death by his wife Diane, his brother Paul, step-son Stuart, and step-daughter Nici.
There will be a celebration of David’s life at his home on a date yet to be determined.
