TECUMSEH — The Tecumseh City Council has approved plans for this year’s Memorial Day parade, with organizers now preparing for the annual event honoring fallen service members.
Mayor Brian Radant said planning is already underway by the Memorial Day Committee, which includes local volunteers working to build on last year’s event.
Radant says the goal is to match last year’s turnout and continue honoring veterans.
Radant said the event remains an important tradition for the community, especially with strong local ties to military service.
The parade and ceremony are scheduled for Memorial Day, May 25, with a procession through downtown followed by a service at Brookside Cemetery.
