ADRIAN — Lenawee County residents will have a chance at a fresh start this spring.
The Lenawee County Bar Association is hosting an Expungement Fair on Friday, May 22nd, from noon to 4 p.m. on the third floor of the Lenawee County Courthouse.
The event is designed to help eligible individuals begin the process of clearing criminal records, which can improve access to jobs, housing, and education.
Attendees can meet with legal professionals and trained volunteers to review eligibility and get help completing paperwork.
Organizers encourage participants to register and complete a pre-screening form in advance to ensure accurate eligibility review.
The fair is being held in partnership with Safe and Just Michigan and Legal Services of South Central Michigan.
