ADRIAN — The City of Adrian is now accepting applications for a home repair assistance program aimed at helping eligible homeowners address critical repairs.
City officials say the program covers improvements that protect health and safety, including roof repairs, heating system fixes, electrical and plumbing work, accessibility upgrades, and structural improvements.
Applicants must own and live in a home within city limits, meet income guidelines, and provide proof of property taxes and insurance. A home inspection is required, and all work must be completed by a city-approved contractor.
The maximum grant is $25,000, and a radon test will also be included as part of the program.
Applications are available now and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
