TECUMSEH — Tecumseh police officer hiring is now official, with the city welcoming a new officer to its department following action at Monday night’s City Council meeting.
The city welcomed Officer Jacob Biek to the Tecumseh police department. City Manager Brett Coker delivered the update during his report to the Tecumseh City Council, outlining the background and qualifications of the department’s newest hire.
That was Tecumseh City Manager Brett Coker.
The announcement was included as part of the City Manager’s monthly report and did not require council action.
Biek’s addition comes as the department continues maintaining staffing and operations heading into the 2026 budget cycle.
