TECUMSEH — The Tecumseh Center for the Arts will begin a series of facility upgrades this spring after the success of its 2025 $50,000 Challenge fundraising campaign.
Officials say the project will start with dressing room renovations from today, March 16th, through April 6th. Improvements include new flooring, updated makeup counters, and renovated restrooms.
A second phase scheduled for April 13th through April 20th will focus on stage infrastructure, including upgrades to the theater’s rigging system to meet OSHA safety standards and the installation of new stage curtains.
Support for the project came from organizations including the Stubnitz Foundation, the Lenawee Community Foundation, the Kiwanis Club of Tecumseh, and individual donors.
Officials say the upgrades will help ensure the theater continues to provide a safe and professional space for performances.
