ADRIAN — The Adrian District Library is inviting the community to take part in National Library Week next month with a series of activities for all ages.
Events will take place April 19th through the 25th at the library’s downtown Adrian location on East Maumee Street.
This year’s theme is “Find Your Joy,” highlighting the many ways libraries help people explore new interests, from books and learning programs to technology and community events.
Library officials say visitors can expect games, prize giveaways, treats, and coloring activities during the week as a way to celebrate the role libraries play in the community.
Library Director Jen Wrzesinski says the goal is to encourage residents to stop by, explore the library’s resources, saying, “We invite everyone to visit the library and share your appreciation of libraries and library staff while exploring what sparks your interest, from books to technology.”
