ADRIAN — The ProMedica Adrian Ebeid Neighborhood Promise says participation in its community programs grew significantly during 2025.
According to the program’s newly released annual report, more than 1,600 people attended workshops, classes, and community events at the Ebeid Center in east Adrian last year. That’s up from just over 800 participants in 2024.
Officials say a total of 159 free workshops were offered in partnership with more than 60 community organizations, including Adrian Public Schools, the Lenawee Community Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club of Lenawee, and the Adrian Dominican Sisters.
Programs ranged from credit education and parenting classes to mental health training, wellness activities, and a legal clinic that helped residents restore driving privileges.
Program coordinator De’Angelo Boone says bringing health and support services directly into east Adrian helps ensure residents have equitable access to wellness resources and preventative care.
All programs at the Ebeid Center on Comstock Street are free and open to the public. More information and monthly program schedules are available through the ProMedica Adrian Ebeid Neighborhood Promise Facebook page.
